Warranty Policy

At Mars Communications Ltd we are committed to supplying genuine, high-quality products. To support this commitment, we offer a warranty on Hisense, Samsung and LG products purchased from our stores and from mars-shop.co.tz, as set out below.

Warranty Duration

Major appliances and electronics — including televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, cookers and sound systems — carry a standard twelve (12) month warranty from the date of purchase, unless a different period is stated on your invoice or the manufacturer’s warranty card. The warranty covers manufacturing defects arising under normal household use during this period.

Please note that small appliances — such as kettles, blenders, mixers, irons, coffee makers, toasters, sandwich makers, ice makers and weighing scales — are not covered by warranty unless expressly stated in writing at the time of purchase.

Scope of Warranty

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal conditions of use. It does not cover damage or malfunction resulting from:

  • Improper use — misuse, abuse, neglect or failure to follow the product’s user manual.
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications — work by any person or service centre not authorised by Mars Communications Ltd.
  • Accidental or physical damage — drops, impact, liquid spills, cracks or other physical damage.
  • Environmental factors — power surges, lightning, unstable voltage, fire, floods or other natural events.
  • Normal wear and tear, consumable parts, and cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

  2. Provide proof of purchase — present the original receipt or invoice to validate the warranty.
  3. Product assessment — our authorised technicians will inspect the product to determine the defect and the appropriate remedy.

General Conditions

  • The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
  • Where a valid claim is accepted, Mars reserves the right to repair or replace the defective product, or a component, at its discretion.
  • The warranty applies only to products purchased from Mars Communications Ltd and supported by valid proof of purchase.
